Wildwood Beach New Jersey

Towards the end of our trip out East Jordan, Paul, and I headed to Wildwood NJ where the Spring and Fall buggybash is held.  We met up with Peter Lynn team buggy rider Todd Stevick and his son Corey.  Todd is the main coordinator and organizer of the buggy bash, and we were soon introduced to one of his buddies Rich, who is the operator of Eastcoastkitesports.com.  These guys are so rad!  Every kiter that I have met has been incredibly friendly.  These dudes were great.  They took us to the main part of the beach where the bash is held and made us feel right at home.  We soon launched our kites in the lowest winds i've ever flown in, 7-9 mph.  This was my first real session on my new charger 15m as a Peter Lynn rider.  I didn't even know that this kite could fly in low winds. I also got to help a friend from powerkiteforum.com Scott set up his first peter lynn arc ever.  He was using a 12m vortex.  Seeing the gigantic smile on his face, I realized that he will probably stick to de-power kites from now on.  It felt good being a PL team rider and watching people use an arc for the first time.

After hanging out with Todd and the rest of the nowhereboys, I realized that Todd is a crazy kook!  I've never met anybody else who was more obsessed with powerkites.  Todd is a great spokesperson for Peter Lynn and the kite community for that matter.  Looking forward to more meetups and kite events in the future!
